Second Humboldt Anarchist Book Fair
Manila, CA. Saturday, December 5, 2009.
The Anarchist Book Fair will once again be held at the Manila Community
Center. It’s from 10am to 6 pm with speakers, workshops, and presenters all day. Some not-to-be-missed presenters are authors Andrej Grubacic who wrote Wobblies and Zapatistas, and Cindy Milstein from the anarchist institute, and the Internet TV personality and radical independent media bombshell from Canada, The Stimulator, Frank Lopez, check out his work on http://submedia.tv. Local presenters include the prisoner rights group Bar None, and a panel of local activists who participated in the 1999 Seattle WTO protest, they will be looking back and to the future 10 years later. Others presenters TBA.
Just like last year there will be free food and a kids’ corner. Tablers
will include publishers,community organizations that will be selling books and sharing zines you wont find in the local library.
Come to learn, mingle, have fun, and meet folks. But what ever the
reason, come. All are welcome.
